“Woodside Art of The Horse” is an equine art exhibition for all ages that celebrates the beauty and nobility of the horses in our lives. 

The exhibit will take place as part of the opening reception for the Woodside Day of the Horse event and is scheduled for Friday Oct. 11 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Woodside Town Hall. There will be a Youth Art Show the entire weekend rom Oct. 11-13 at the Woodside Village Church.

All San Francisco Bay Area residents are invited to submit up to three (3) pieces for selection, with one (1) piece per artist eligible for the show for adults, and all entries from youth will be exhibited.

Celebrating the Horse

Artwork must celebrate the horse and be the artist’s original design. It may be in oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink, graphic and charcoal, colored pencil, photography, sculpture, miniatures, or mixed media. No giclees or computer generated art will be considered.

Awards will be presented in two categories – 18 + and under 18. They will be awarded on Friday night at the show. All Youth will be awarded ribbons and be entered into a drawing to win prizes!
