WHOA! is pleased to support the outreach work of Caring Cowgirl with funds that will help support their mission to advocate accessibility for the next generation of equestrian enthusiasts from all diverse ethnic backgrounds, the Latinx community, and for children of immigrants like founder Liz Evans.
The funds will be used for the Mini Mobile Unit program specifically for ongoing visits to Bret Hart Elementary School in San Francisco. They teach and honor bilingualism, bi-literacy and multiculturalism.

Caring Cowrgirl programs help bring the many emotional and social benefits that their miniature equines provide to a larger group of San Francisco’s inner-city youth who face socioeconomic and accessibility hurdles, as well as overt and passive discrimination.
In 2021 and 2022, Liz brought her mini horse and mini donkey to the pony rides field during the Woodside Day of the Horse. Caring Cowgirl will be back this year also – 2023!!
