Thank you to the many generous supporters who made this year’s 15thAnnual Woodside Day of the Horse events such a tremendous success. Our appreciation for their generosity is exceeded only by our gratitude for their partnership in sharing the difference that horses make in our lives with neighbors both nearby and in our surrounding communities.
As a result of this year’s Woodside Day of the Horse events, hundreds of equestrians and neighbors enjoyed the horse’s beauty and variety at the First Annual Art of the Horse exhibition. Hundreds more saw riders costumed as “Super Heroines and Heroes” ride the Town of Woodside public trails. And more than 1,500 family members from surrounding communities were introduced to horses at the Family Fun Horse Fair, a positive first step toward understanding the role of horses and the rural lifestyle here in the midst of Silicon Valley.
