Event Overview
Established during our 15th anniversary event in 2019, the Woodside Art of the Horse features the original creative work of artists whose work celebrates the horse.

The Artists
Youth and Adults resident of the United States are welcome to participate!

How does it work?
Each year the format varies slightly with the goal of having an artist reception on the Friday of the Day of the Horse weekend. Details are provided on our website.

Art Work Accepted:
Artwork must be the artist’s original design, and may be in is in a variety of mediums, such as oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, pen and ink, graphic and charcoal, colored pencil, photography, sculpture, mixed media, miniatures, jewellery, and high quality crafts. No giclees or computer generated art will be accepted.
Copyright and Use Rights: Artists retain the copyright to their images. However, accepted images do become part of the WHOA! archives and may be used in future art promotions.
