The Mounted Patrol Foundation (MPF), the Woodside-area Horse Owners Association (WHOA!) and the San Mateo County Horsemen’s Association (SMCHA) jointly sponsor this $13,000 award to a high school senior involved in equine-related activities and resides in Bay Area Counties (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solano, and Sonoma) who has been accepted to and plans to attend a college, university, trade school or other continuing education program each fall.

The MPF and WHOA! and SMCHA share a deep interest in the next generation of equine-motivated individuals. The two organizations are committed to helping people further the interests of the local horse community in their career, avocation or equine-related goals.
